Rosy, Bourbon and Iris

Postby Jacqui Duly » Mon Oct 22, 2018 6:47 pm

Rose white and black 2 years old
Bourbon male black and white 1 year old
Iris white and black 7-8 years old.

They came form a flat in Colchester where a lady, who had allegedly been banned from having animals by the RSPCA, was keeping roughly 20 cats in microwave sized cages. The cats were never let out and the flat smelt of urine and faeces. The cats legs were stained with urine.

The local council had become involved due to complaints from neighbours.

Luckily Terri the assistant warden had 2 emergency pens at her home at PCL was totally full. Terri found Rose in a tiny cage behind the settee.

They soon settled down at Terri in the luxury large dog crates, with plenty of bedding, food and space.

When taken to the vets it turned out that the Bourbon was not neutered. They were all microchipped but not neutered, so the vets were able to track their ages.

All 3 cats are very friendly and loving cat, which is a miracle considering what they have been through. They all had stained urine fur and bumps and scratches on them, which are now healing with plenty of space, food, warmth and attention.

All three cats are friendly and in need of loving homes.

Neutered, microchipped de-flead and wormed.
